For 25 years, Michael was a part of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps. After performing for 4 years, he spent the next few years choreographing for the color guard, and lending a hand to the drill design when needed. Beginning in 1998, he became the sole drill designer and Visual Coordinator for the 1998 to 2011 seasons. He was on the design team for all 7 of their Drum Corps International World Championship titles.
In addition to The Cavaliers, Michael designed for Spirit of JSU and The Caballeros senior corps for several years.
