Michael can be contracted to provide staging for indoor winter color guards and baton teams. In addition to being a musician, Michael spent the majority of his performing days as a color guard member. In addition, he started out his career as a choreographer for color guards. This experience gives him the understanding of movement and equipment principles needed to create designs that will allow for creativity on the part of the choreographer.
He prefers to stage these shows on site, and in person, with the performers in order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the cast, and to collaborate with the in house creative and technical staff.
Once contracted, Michael will be actively involved in design discussions about music, concepts, props, and floor designs. These conversations will mostly take place via conference call and emails, with the possibility of an occasional face to face meeting if time and schedule allow.
Contact Michael for quotes as design fees may vary.
